GROWING UP WITH A BALANCED DIET

It’s very important that while you are young and still developing that you have a balanced diet including all the essential vitamins and nutrients that you need to grow.  The worst thing you can do is try a “fad” diet that restricts you from food with essential compounds you need to fully develop.  Doing so would likely lead to stunting your growth and leading to physical problems in the future.  It is important when young to stay active with at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day with a balanced diet.

When exercising you HAVE to bring water or a sports drink with you when you play.  Water is essential to your body to function properly and to do your best when playing.  Without water you can suffer from cramps, heat exhaustion, and even become fatal  if severe enough.  Remember, if you are playing and are thirsty, then you are already slightly dehydrated, you should drink water or a sports drink at least every 15 minutes to stay hydrated.

You must start good healthy eating habits when your young to prevent diseases later on in your life like heart disease and certain kinds of cancer.
