George Evans Park is located on Spring Street. It includes basketball courts, play-ground equipment, and is home to the Gillespie Street Center.

Gillispie Street Center is located at 610 East Gillispie Street. The facility includes restrooms, kitchen, tables, and chairs. It’s a great place to host receptions, family reunions, or any other type of related setting. Room capacity is 80 people.
There is a $150 rental fee which is non-refundable, along with a $300 damage deposit which is refundable after use.
For citizens who live in the neighborhood, the rental fee is $75.
